26th Franco-German Council of Ministers at Augustusburg Palace
We are delighted that the Franco-German Council of Ministers will be hosted at Augustusburg Palace on 17 July 2026.
Early in the morning, the participating german federal ministers will meet with their french counterparts at Augustusburg Palace in Brühl for bilateral talks.
At 11.00 am, President Emmanuel Macron will be officially welcomed with military honours by Chancellor Friedrich Merz.
The Franco-German Council of Ministers will then take place in the palace.
Augustusburg Palace will therefore be closed from Tuesday, 14 July to Saturday 18 July.
